Keto Matcha Latte
Matcha is a widely consumed tea that’s known for its powerful antioxidant properties and various other health benefits. Unique to Japan, it’s potency and rich flavor greatly sought after by tea lovers around the world. Its taste is stronger than normal green tea which makes it a perfect medium in creating many different types of recipes from beverages to desserts.
An increasingly popular brand of coffee called Bulletproof® coffee (synonymous with keto coffee) is known for mixing coffee with butter and MCT oil. By doing so creates a frothy and creamy result giving your body tons of energy that lasts throughout the day - making it the perfect healthy drink for a productive day. The best part is that you can create this version of coffee by using matcha instead right at the comfort of your own home.
The difference between keto coffee and keto matcha is that by using matcha, you achieve that mellow feeling if you don’t want to experience the stimulatory effect of using coffee. Though matcha is also higher in caffeine compared to coffee, it has a relaxing compound that tempers the caffeine. What you would feel when drinking matcha are calm alertness, mental endurance, short-term memory and faster response time. This could be the reason why monks years ago have considered this tea as their favorite and continued drinking it until today.
So, if you’re looking for a healthier and more energizing alternative in getting that daily dose of antioxidants and quality fat than matcha is certainly the way to go. Here, you can make your own Matcha keto latte in just a few minutes. All you need is matcha and a few ingredients to get started.
