Hicoup Warranty
At HiCoup, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. These are backed by a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use, for the applicable period stated of the warranty.
Please note that our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use or failure to follow care instructions. HiCoup warrants to the Original Purchaser that the product will be free from manufacturing defects under normal use and service for the applicable warranty period.
Our warranty applies only to the original purchaser, or in the case of a gift, the original recipient, and requires proof of purchase. It is non-transferable and only covers products purchased new from HiCoup or authorized sellers.
Please note that commercial or restaurant use is not covered under our warranty.
Used, like-new, open-box, clearance, or refurbished products are not covered by this Warranty.
WARRANTY CLAIMS PROCEDURE
If a defect arises during the warranty period please notify us immediately with relevant photos or video of the problem. We will require proof of purchase and/or a valid Order Number / ID. If the claim is deemed valid, HiCoup may at its sole discretion:
Replace the product one (1) time only, or send a replacement part if deemed repairable or credit the cost of the product towards an upgrade of a product of twice the cost of the original or more. If the product is out of stock we may recommend a replacement instead, or store credit of equivalent amount.
If the products requires it be sent in for repair, this would be covered for the applicable time of the warranty.
Cost of shipping is not included within the Warranty past 30 days from time of purchase. Customer will be required to pay the cost of shipping for a replacement product, part, or repair, past the 30 days. We will provide an electronic invoice and assist you as needed.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Limited Lifetime Warranty is non-transferable and only valid for the lifetime of the Original Purchaser.
The same applies for yearly warranties, including our Limited 1-Year Warranty and Limited 3-Year Warranties. The warranty is non-transferable and limited to the yearly period specified.

GRANITE MORTAR & PESTLE
For the granite mortar and pestle, our warranty covers:
Manufacturing defects in the granite material
Structural cracks or fractures that occur during normal use
Defects in workmanship affecting functionality
As granite is a natural stone, its appearance will evolve over time with use. The following are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered under this warranty:
Surface changes: gradual smoothing, dulling, or polishing of the interior grinding surface
Minor chipping or pitting: small chips or texture changes that do not affect performance
Color variations or darkening: caused by exposure to oils, spices, or moisture
Natural variations in the stone: including veins, pits, or slight inconsistencies present at purchase
Seasoning-related changes: visual or texture changes from the initial curing/seasoning process
Improper use: Improper handling, dropping or impact damage, exposure to extreme temperature changes (thermal shock), improper cleaning resulting in damage (dishwashers or use of harsh chemicals).
RETAIL STORE PURCHASES
HiCoup products sold at retail store locations are not covered by our Warranty, we ask that you return the product directly to the store you purchased it from. On most occasions, if past the return window, the store will still permit a store credit coupon or merchandise credit, but you must verify this with your point of purchase directly, we cannot guarantee a resolution on their behalf.
