If you are on keto, you may feel that some of your favourite dishes are off limits, today we bring you a keto pizza alternative, using almond flour! This is one of several ways to prepare a keto crust for your pizza.
Keto Pizza Crust
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 tablespoons of cream cheese
- 1 cup Almond Flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Italian seasoning, and garlic
Keto Pizza Toppings
- Shredded mozzarella.
- Your favourite veggies Onion, Pepper, Jalapeno, olives, spinach, etc.
- Sugar-free tomato
- Oregano, Crushed Red Peppers
Pre-heat oven to 230 C.
Add mozzarella and cream cheese to a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 45 seconds.
Remove from microwave and add in egg, almond flour, baking powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Mix with a spoon until well incorporated.
Remove from oven (keep the oven on) and load your pizza with your Sugar-Free tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni and toppings.
Bake pizza for another 5-8 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
