Dalgona Coffee Recipe
After Korean actor Jung Il-Woo praised the Dalgona Coffee drink on the television show Pyunstorang, the coffee craze could not be contained! Dalgona Coffee took over TikTok and crept its way into every recipe blog in sight. We couldn't resist hopping on the trend with this Easy Dalgona Coffee Recipe along with providing you some information about the whipped coffee's origins.

What is Dalgona Coffee?

Dalgona Coffee is a whipped coffee made with instant coffee, sugar, and hot water. This mixture is served over either hot or iced milk. Dalgona is a Korean candy made by baking sugar, water, and baking soda. The drink is named after the candy because of the similar airy taste and texture.

Is Dalgona Coffee Easy to Make?

YES! Dalgona Coffee only has three core ingredients and takes about five minutes to prepare! This is a great recipe to make better at home coffee and can save you time and money by skipping a trip to a cafe. We do recommend using an electric handheld milk frother to easily whip your coffee mixture and achieve the ultimate frothy texture.

Do you have a video for the coffee recipie? I have been unable to duplicate the results shown with my new frother.

I had previously mastered “quarantine coffee” using the whip attachment on my hand mixer. I was hoping to get the same texture with a frother but no luck so far.

      Thank you.
