Zulay Espresso Machine

Unlike the bulky dinosaur-era espresso machine that takes up too much counterspace in my kitchen, I am loving this smaller, sleeker design by Zulay.Granted, my old one has spigots for making two separate cups of espresso at the same time, but this smaller model brews coffee very quickly—in fact, much faster than my dual-cup machine.The icons above the press buttons for brewing selections are easy to understand. The frother steam section dispenses milk fast and furious and very hot but has a useful rubber handle on the wand to avoid burned fingers.But the best part is how good the espresso tastes after brewing. There is no metallic or burned aftertaste and the crema comes out thick, creamy and delicious. And it tastes much better than my old machine too.Guess it’s time to throw out the old and bring in this new smaller one in its place. About time!

The machine is a pump, which means the hot water lasts until the water tank is empty. The continues steam makes the ability to froth milk and brew first-class espresso easy. The footprint is small, making it easy to place in a kitchen, den, or office. The unit is quiet compared to other units we have owned. The steam is hot, so be careful when using the frother. Once the machine has reached pressure, it's fast. The build looks solid and attractive. I expect it to last for years. It's well worth the price - many machines of this type cost double or even triple the amount this one does. I highly recommend.

I’ve been using this espresso machine for a little bit now, and overall I’m really impressed—especially for the price. It heats up quickly and pulls a nice, rich shot with good crema once you get the hang of the grind and tamp.The size is perfect for my kitchen since it doesn’t take up a ton of counter space, but still feels solid and well-built. The stainless steel finish looks clean and modern too.The steam wand works pretty well for lattes and cappuccinos. It took me a couple tries to get the milk texture right, but once I figured it out, I was able to get a decent froth at home without needing anything fancy.I also like that the water tank is easy to remove and refill, and cleanup isn’t too bad either. Everything feels pretty straightforward to use after the first few tries.Only small downside is it can be a little loud while pulling a shot, but nothing unexpected for a machine like this.Overall, great entry-level espresso machine if you want café-style drinks at home without spending a ton. Definitely happy with it.

I’ve been really happy with this compact espresso machine so far. It doesn’t take up much counter space, which is exactly what I was looking for, but it still pulls a solid shot. I could have just not let it heat up enough. I’ve used it for lattes and cappuccinos and it produces good foam once you get the hang of it. It has enough power to texture the milk without taking forever, and I like that it swings out of the way when not in use. Cleanup for the wand is simple but be careful because steam is HOT.The machine feels sturdy for its size and the design looks clean on the counter. The drip tray and water tank are easy to remove, which makes refilling and cleaning less of a hassle. Overall, it’s a great little espresso machine if you want something compact that can still make legit espresso drinks at home.
