What kind/type of milk can I use in my Magia coffee machine? E.g. can I use half & half or evaporated milk??

Hello, thanks for your question. The answer is yes you can use half & half and evaporated milk with the Magia, however for the absolute best results we recommend using a milk that is less thick such as whole milk. This will move more easily through the milk system.

I know for safety reasons, you can not tell us it is ok to remove the grinder shield in the bean hopper, but if removed, will this affect the operation of the machine? Beans tend to get stuck on top sometimes and occasional jams till I give the babies a push.

What features does the new white version have other than the milk canister. Also does this have the same pre programmed drink selections and the adjustable height pour for larger coffee cups. It's unclear what if any differences are between these two models. ,

Hi Ruben, It designed for use in the US. Outlets and voltage differ internationally and this product may require an adapter or converter for use in your destination.

Is there another compartment for pre-ground beans? The reason I am asking is my wife drinks either decaf or half caf and I drink full on caf. We are looking for one that has dual grinders but those are a little more pricey. Thank you

Hi Darren, I'm afraid there is no other separate compartment for pre ground beans. However, you can use pre-ground coffee by putting ⅛ cups of powder into the chute.

Can you please let me know if me and my sister can purchase the insulated milk jug that you have on your new updated white automatic espresso machine because it didn’t come with the 2 black super automatic espresso machines that we bought from you a few months ago and it would make it so much better keeping the milk cold and distributing it. I have been telling all my friends and family about your machine & I am going to be supporting your company and helping them to never have to spend money at those very expensive coffee shops again! 1. Can you clarify the cleaning? I had another machine that said "self-cleaning" but instructed to clean with tablets. 2. If the machine needs maintenance, what would be the process? 3. Is there a certain type of milk or limit to how long to leave the milk out?

Hi, yes, here are the answers

1- Self-cleaning means that before and after making coffee, the machine will clean the coffee pipes and boiler line system to keep the machine and pipes free from particles. Tablet cleaning is a descaling action to remove any limescale residues that have accumulated in the boiler and pipes. This action can be performed once a month or after a certain number of coffee drinks. The machine will notify you on the screen when it needs to be done to maintain your machine in good condition.

2- I have it in my house, and it's straightforward if you know what to do. I always put the milk tube in a cup of water before and after each use (this will keep the milk system clean). Perform the descaling process every month or every 2 months. For the descaling I use a mixture of two parts water and one part vinegar, or you can use any coffee machine descaler.

3- You can use whole milk, skim milk, Almond Milk, or any type of milk. The Milk Container comes with an ice pack that will keep the milk cool for several hours. You should never consume milk that has been warm for too long so keep an eye on it!
