Set of wooden kitchen utensils on a dark surface

Chel K.

I actually won a set of these in a giveaway. They are very nice. Sturdy, beautiful, and they come with a lifetime warranty. I will not hesitate to order from Zulay. I have my eye on an iron pot I hope to be buying soon! 2025-04-16

What a beautiful set of wooden utensils!! I received these as a Christmas gift and am incredibly pleased with them. They hold up so nicely and I love that the coating is very shiny and protective. They wash easily and don't scratch up. I have to say these are definitely worth buying. I am highly impressed with the Zulay Kitchen company and their products! 2025-05-07

Set of wooden cooking utensils on a light gray background

Rebecca O.

They are substantial spoons, look very high end. I just opened them today haven’t used them yet. Can tell the quality is superb and the color is so very beautiful. They are very pleasant to hold. I have stiff hands (arthritis). I can’t wait to use them. I will gift them as well. They are so much more than I expected. This is a follow up, upon using the spoons, I’m elated to report that they are superb. I recently made some Risotto. And it did not stick. The clean up was effortless. I’m buying another pack! I love them. 2025-09-09

Wooden utensils in a woven basket on a wooden surface with a plant and coffee beans in the background.

Paige W.

I used these coasters, cutting boards, and large wooden utensils to create personalized gift sets, and they turned out amazing! I hot stamped last names onto each item and sealed them with regular board oil. The wood quality is excellent, heavy, durable, and each piece had its own unique grain that added a special touch. The utensils were a great size and felt sturdy, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. They were thick and large! Everyone loved their custom sets, and I was so impressed with how affordable these were compared to craft stores, better quality too! Highly recommend for DIY gifting projects. 2025-07-25

teak wood utensil set on kicthen counter

Chris

Metal spatulas scratch my expensive non-stick cookware. Plastic spatulas melt and introduce harmful microplastics into the food we eat. So my beautiful wife asked me to buy something made of wood. There are a lot of options but I settled on these based on look, reviews, and price. I have to say I'm impressed. They work really well, they clean up easily, and I just feel a lot better using them. Highly recommend. 2025-11-25

My wife loves this 30 pc set! It has everything she needs plus more. She loves to cook and having all the utensils easily available is nice and the set is beautiful! It was packed individually wrapped in a really nice box. These were well worth the purchase. 2025-10-31

Good quality teak wood honey spoons. I also have a dipper for runnier honey. Please hand wash and dry. Wood is best for honey. I recommend! 2025-11-24

teak wood utensil set on a kitchen counter

I'm switching to non-tox stuff in my lift as much as possible and I LOVE these, including the peace of mind I get that I’m not putting cancer from plastic utensils in my babies food! Good fit, feel and weight. Shape is usual. They seem great for the price! Will update if not :) 2025-10-01

I didn’t even know these were an option until I saw an article about trying to keep the microplastics out of our food! I decided to give this option a try and I don’t plan on turning back! I was not sure about the ability of this material to work well in a skillet or to break up meat, etc. But I am pleasantly surprised at how well these work for cooking and serving! I had kept my older rubber ones in case I didn’t like these and now that I’ve been using them for over a month I plan on sticking with them permanently. The old ones are being tossed!! Pros: - packed well and arrived quickly - wash well in the dishwasher - great for use when cooking in a skillet or just serving dishes - healthier option than rubber and plastic utensils - have not had any trouble with them being heat resistant so far - easy to store in a drawer or a utensil jar - they feel thick enough to be sturdy but not too thick that they can’t flip items in a pan Cons: - I haven’t found anything yet. The only thing is that I’m mad I only bought a set of six! I will likely get rid of any last plastic utensils and switch permanently to these! If you are hesitant like me don’t be! I’m happy I made the switch … they even make my kitchen look a little more stylish with their wooden minimalism look! 2025-05-27

Using the teak wood utensil set for making a salad

Anna Co

I love all of Zulay products. I only use their milk frothers and have gifted them to my kids. This set of wooden spoons is well made and beautifully crafted. The color is lovely. I love supporting this small business. Great value for your money. 2025-08-13

These are very pretty, but I would not put in dishwasher. I tested it with one spatula-it turned very dark and is still very dark, so I think dishwasher is just too wet for them. They work well and they really look good. I like creating in kitchen with good looking products, and these do the job. 2025-09-19

Teak wood utensils covered with paper - good packaging

Cort W

I was surprised it was so difficult to find a shorter wooden spoon. I was excited when I found this one. The packaging was very appropriate and not oversized. Inside the box, the spoon was wrapped in personalized tissue paper. The teak wood is beautiful and the quality is impressive. 2025-10-28

Really enjoying this 10-piece teak spoon set. They are well made and work beautifully. No dishwasher for these guys but I don’t mind washing them by hand. I’ve been wanting wooden spoons for a while and finally found a great set! 2025-10-18

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I clean them?

Simply hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry right away. To keep the wood in great condition, do not soak or place them in the dishwasher. Quick, easy, and ready to use again in seconds.

How long will they last?

A very long time. Teak is known for its durability, and with basic care, your utensils are designed for everyday use.

Is teak wood actually safe to cook with?

Yes. Teak is one of the most trusted hardwoods for kitchen use — naturally dense, moisture-resistant, and food-safe. It’s been used in kitchens for generations because of its durability and reliability.

Will these scratch my non-stick or ceramic pans?

No teak wood is naturally smooth and gentle on cookware. It glides across non-stick, ceramic, cast iron, and stainless steel without scratching or damaging the surface.

Is there any synthetic coating or finish on the wood?

No synthetic coatings. Our utensils are made from 100% natural teak and conditioned with food-grade mineral oil. There’s no shellac, dye, or synthetic coating.

What makes them shiny?

Two things: teak’s natural oils and a smooth, hand-sanded finish. Teak is naturally rich in oils, which give it that warm glow. Every utensil is then handmade smooth and conditioned with food-grade mineral oil to bring out the grain.

Durable inexpensive six piece utensil set

I picked out this six piece wooden spoon set for cooking because I recently purchased brand new pots and it will save the ceramic coated pot finish when you use wooden spoons. I’m very pleased with this product. First of all it was very reasonably priced. The quality is excellent and they were just what I was looking for. There are six pieces in this set. The container in the last picture is my container and did not come with the utensils. Great use with nonstick pots. The color is perfect. They have a nice way to them and they are easy to grow. The product is sold in small family business and named after the business owner’s mother-in-law I love these utensil and I recommend them great buy

Gorgeous, excellent quality

This teak wood cooking utensil set is wonderful! They each come individually wrapped, and it includes hooks in case you were the kind of person that hangs them up on hooks. I personally do not. You can feel the superb quality of these, very sturdy. I just signed up for the warranty as well. This seems to be a very fair price for comparable sets. It does say to keep these hand washed, which I will do to increase their longevity. Now I want to have everything teak in my kitchen to match.

High Quality!

These are the most beautiful wooden spoons! High quality! I love them! Thank you for caring about your product! You can tell you have pride in what you sell!

Amazing quality

Just got them. They feel great and also look amazing. Also pretty heavy (which is great).

Very well made

BeautifulLooking forward to use them.

Good quality

I love it!!!

I really do like them all, they look great. The best part is I'm not putting chemicals in my body.

They are nice and very useful

I really like how beautiful the utensils are. Easy to clean and they are so much nicer than my old plastic utensils.

I love them!!

Easy to clean. Don’t have
To worry about the chemicals in plastic ware anymore. Working out great. Have already recommended them to other people.

I feel
Rich owning these ! High quality thank you

Awesome

The utensils look great and high quality. Have used a couple already and they work well. It is a tight fit when you try to put all the big tools in the canister so I use the one I had before and will find a use for the new one as it looks great

They're absolutely beautiful , I have not as yet had a chance to use them but I love the look alone enough for 5 stars !!

They are great. Love them!!!

Great product, I was concerned that the spatula would not allow me to turn over an egg. It works perfectly.

Love it!

I’ve been using the utensils for almost a week now and I’m very happy with them. Easy to use and clean. They look great on the countertop too. I would highly recommend it to others.

We like

Absolutely love these! That’s all I want to use in my kitchen now.

Beautiful set. I have only had it a week but is great! Only thing I would change is the pasta spoon. Too shallow and can't scoop up pasta.

I wasn't sure what to expect. The utensils are beautiful and do the job. I am glad that I bought them.

I thought that I had originally ordered the Zulay Utensils but unfortunately when the Utensils arrived I discovered I did not! I put the received ones back in the box and sold them at a Yard Sale! I then ordered the Zulay Utensils and could not be happier!

Absolutely wonderful. 🥰🤙

I love them, wish the handles were a.little.longer, but really good sofar. I threw out my.other spoons and such, so just metal and wood for now.

I love my new utensils! It was very easy to throw out my old! I feel so much better using my new ones.

So far I really like them, haven’t had a chance to use all of them, but I think I will be very satisfied

looks very good
