John & Carissa make a delicious grill with the help of Zulay Kitchen Tongs!
They love a good grill and they want to share some practical tips on how to prepare a succulent grill.
- Don't use starter fluid to light your coals. Instead look into purchasing a chimney starter; it's easy, safe and almost as fast—and you don't have to worry about the awful smell of the starter fluid transfering to your grilled meat/veggies.
- Always use some soaked wood chips/chunks on top of your coals to help give a bigger smoky flavor. I recommend this even if you have a gas grill; either do the foil packet method or they sell the steel wood chip smoker boxes for ±$20.
- Most importantly, make sure you have the right tools for the job; that includes a Grill brush, Lighter and some good Tongs.
