Easy Pork Chop! Delicious pork chops browned with butter and covered with an irresistible creamy sauce.
Everyday life is full of challenges, when we get home we want to have something tasty for dinner, that replenishes our energy and is easy to prepare. This recipe will be number 1 on your dinner list, because it's quick to prepare, delicious and you can make it ahead of time; (Just heat them up and they'll be just like freshly prepared). I like to serve them with mashed potatoes or salad, very easy!

PORK CHOP INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CHOPS
- 4 Thick-cut pork chops
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Whole garlic clove
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Sprigs of thyme
FOR THE SAUCE
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Crushed garlic cloves
- 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 Tablespoon dried basil
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 Cup cream
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 1/2 Cup white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chops until golden brown and slightly pink in the center, 7 to 10 minutes per side. The core temperature should be at least 145° F (63° C).
- Add 2 more tablespoons of butter, the thyme and the whole garlic clove to the skillet. Drizzle the chops with the butter until well done; transfer the pork chops to a plate and return the skillet to medium-high heat.
- For the sauce: remove the thyme and the garlic clove from the remaining butter in the pan; add the chopped onion and cook for 4 minutes.
- Add the crushed garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add the flour and mix to integrate.
- Add the white wine and boil for 2 minutes to evaporate the alcohol.
- Stir in the basil, milk, cream, salt and pepper to taste; mix.
- Cook and stir constantly until the mixture is thick and bubbly, 4 to 6 minutes.
- Serve your chops accompanied with delicious mashed potatoes and the sauce. Enjoy!
