That’s where fruit-infused water comes in—especially this vibrant combo of oranges and raspberries. Not only does it taste like a refreshing spa day in a bottle, but this simple fruit-infused water recipe also adds a pop of nutrients to your daily hydration routine. And the best part? How to Make Refreshing Fruit-Infused Water

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Infusion Time: 6 hours

Servings: 1 bottle (reusable all day)

Ingredients to use for making Refreshing Fruit-Infused Water

Ingredients

    • 2 slices of fresh orange
    • ¼ cup of fresh raspberries
    • Cold filtered water

Instructions

    1. Wash your orange and raspberries thoroughly. Cut two medium-thick slices from your orange. No need to peel.
    2. Open the infuser rod from your water bottle with the fruit infuser and gently place the orange slices inside. Fill the remaining space with raspberries.
    3. Once your fruit is packed, reattach the infuser rod and fill your water bottle with cold, filtered water.
    4. Place your bottle in the refrigerator for up to 6 hours for maximum flavor. If you're in a rush, even 30 minutes can make a difference!
    5. The fruit will last all day, so refill the bottle 2–3 times and enjoy naturally flavored water on repeat.

Frequently Asked Questions About This Recipe

How long does fruit-infused water last?

Fruit-infused water is best enjoyed within 24 hours, though it can last up to 48 hours if refrigerated. After that, the fruit may start to break down and lose its flavor. For the best taste, refill your bottle 2–3 times using the same fruit within the first day, then start fresh the next morning.

Can I eat the fruit after drinking the water?

Absolutely! The fruit inside your infuser is still edible—though it may be a little water-logged and less flavorful. Oranges and berries tend to hold their shape better than softer fruits. If you want to avoid waste, eat the fruit at the end of the day or toss it into a smoothie.

What other fruits work well for infusing water?

There are tons of fruits that make excellent infusions. Popular combos include strawberries + mint, lemon + cucumber, pineapple + basil, or even watermelon + lime. You can also add herbs like rosemary, thyme, or lavender for a spa-like twist. The key is to experiment and find your favorites!

Is fruit-infused water better than plain water?

Fruit-infused water is just as hydrating as plain water, with the added bonus of flavor and trace nutrients from the fruit. If you struggle to drink enough plain water, infused water can be a helpful way to hit your hydration goals without turning to sugary drinks or caffeine.

Can I use frozen fruit instead of fresh?

Yes! Frozen fruit works great and can even help keep your drink cold. Just make sure it's rinsed and sliced (if necessary). Frozen raspberries, mango chunks, or pineapple bits are perfect for infuser bottles. Plus, they tend to release flavor quickly as they thaw in water.

Is this recipe suitable for kids?

Yes, infused water is a fun and healthy choice for kids! It’s a great way to help them drink more water and less juice or soda. Let them pick their own fruit combinations to make hydration more exciting. Just make sure small fruits like raspberries are safely contained in the infuser to prevent choking hazards for younger children.

Hi! I received my replacement frothers and I am SOOO happy to report that I tried the Black one, and what a difference. It was supercharged!!! The one I received from Amazon had a very weak spin and would intermittently stop spinning.
I also want to tell you that I really like my infuser bottle but I am having problems finding accessing the recipes when I go to the address on the box. I also tried to scan the code and had no luck with that either. Could you sent the recipes to me please? I also ordered a Zulay lemon squeezer, and am looking forward to using that too!
