The blue light remains on whenever the opener is in the stand. Is that normal? I assumed blue light would go out when it was fully charged.

When opening a wine bottle the cork broke in half and one half is now wedged inside the screw at the top. The screw won't come out to dislodge it. Any way to make that happen or partially disassemble the part to access it?
