Keto Friendly Eggs and Bacon Cups

Eggs and bacon are a breakfast staple and this recipe is a great way to have them together and jazz up your regular breakfast. This recipe is also Keto-friendly! It can also be modified to to be with or without cheese.

This recipe is extremely easy to modify for number of servings, I would recommend making at least two of these cups for every person you will serve. For this recipe, I made 12 cups.

  • 12 eggs
  • 12 slices of bacon (or ham sliced into strips)
  • Block of parmesan cheese


    1. Preheat the oven to 400° F.

    2. The bacon needs to be pre-cooked a bit to get it really crispy and delicious in your cups. Place the strips on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until it starts to become golden brown but is still very bendable.

    3. Remove the bacon from the oven and allow to cool slightly.

    4. (Optional) Freshly grate your parmesan cheese and place a small amount on the bottom of each cup so it creates a thin layer.

    5. Crack an egg into each cup, in the middle of the bacon ring. As desired, season with salt and pepper at this point. You can substitute salt and pepper for just about anything you like to season your egg cups - garlic salt, chives, minced onions, cayenne pepper, etc.

    6. (Optional) Place a thin layer of parmesan cheese on top of each egg.

    7. Place the cups in the oven for 10-12 minutes or to your taste. 10 minutes will leave the eggs quite runny, while 12 minutes should solidify them. Ovens vary so testing it out is the best way to ensure it’s exactly how you want.

    8. Remove from the oven and garnish as desired. Serve immediately.

    9. Enjoy!
