The bread of this sandwich is toasted with a delicious garlic butter, then layered with Swiss cheese, vegetables and finished with a delicious poached egg! A real treat, join us!

 

TOTAL PREPARATION TIME: 15 Minutes

COURSE: Breakfast

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder or a crushed garlic clove
  • 1 Pinch of salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 Slices of bread of your choice
  • 1 Ounce Swiss cheese, sliced
  • ½ Ripe avocado, sliced
  • Optional: lettuce, sliced tomato, or vegetables of your choice

PREPARATION

  1. Heat water in a saucepan.
  2. Break the egg into a cup and set aside.
  3. When the water is about to boil, make a whirlpool with the help of a spoon or some rods and drop the egg in the center of the whirlpool, delicately.
  4. Cook for 4 minutes. Remove with a skimmer and sprinkle with salt to taste. Set aside.
  5. Mix the butter and garlic; spread the bread with the butter and toast it in the oven or in a frying pan.
  6. To assemble: Place on the bread, the cheese, lettuce (or vegetables of your choice), then the avocado and poached egg.
  7. Sprinkle with freshly ground pepper and place the other slice of bread.
  8. Note: you can include a layer of fried bacon, more cheese and even a sauce of your choice, I particularly like to include guacamole when eating. Enjoy!

Easter bread is an easy and fun recipe to prepare, you just have to mix the ingredients, knead, wait for the dough to rise in size and bake. You can include the children in the preparation of this bread, plus the colored sprinkles give it a nice decoration and you can make it to your liking. Join us!

 

TOTAL PREPARATION TIME: 3 Hour 10 minutes

COURSE: Breakfast/Dessert 

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1/2 Cup unsalted butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 Package (0.25 oz.) active dry yeast
  • 1/8 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 4 Cups all-purpose flour, plus a kneading amount.
  • 1 Large egg, beaten, plus 1 teaspoon of water
  • 3 Dyed Easter eggs, raw or hard-boiled
  • Colored sprinkles

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl mix the milk, 1 teaspoon of sugar and the yeast. Let stand until frothy, about 8 minutes.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine flour, remaining ½ cup sugar and salt. Add the milk/yeast mixture and eggs. Mix until a very soft dough forms, about 5 minutes. Increase the speed to medium-high and add the butter a tablespoon at a time, mixing well after each addition, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl, about 15 minutes.
  3. Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
  4. Divide into 6 pieces. Coil each piece to form a rope 1 inch wide, approximately 14 inches long.
  5. Taking 2 pieces, braid the rope, bring the ends together and then make a circle. Make sure the ends are tightly together. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Press the dyed eggs into the braid, then cover the dough and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177ºC). Brush the bread with beaten egg and cover with the sprinkles. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • 1-1/2 Teaspoons salt
  • 4 Tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 1-3/4 Cup buttermilk
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 450° F.
  2. In a large bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Pour in the melted butter, buttermilk and mix until a dough forms.
  3. With floured hands, knead for 5 minutes. Form the dough into a ball and place it on a cast iron skillet or baking sheet coated with a little oil. Mark an "X" with a bread lame cutter or a sharp knife.
  4. Bake until the bread is golden brown and the center looks completely cooked through, about 45 minutes. Loosely cover the loaf with foil if you notice a deep golden brown on top.
  5. Let the bread cool completely on a rack, then slice it.
  6. Serve with butter or jam. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ Cup rolled oats
  • ½ Cup milk of your choice
  • ¼ Cup plain yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon sweetener, honey or maple syrup (your choice)
  • 1 Tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ Teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruit, diced or sliced, for garnish
  • Chopped nuts, coconut shavings, chopped almonds, dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips for garnish (Optional).

PREPARATION

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl until combined. Add it to the glass container where you will serve it.
  2. Add the fruit or you can also do it at the time of serving. Cover the glass container with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Uncover and enjoy!

The possibilities are endless! Choose whether to make these delicious tacos with beef or with yummy veggies, one way or another, they’re going to be delicious. For the beef, you can choose your favorite kind and add as much of it as you’d like. 

Fun tip: you can also serve this burrito bowl style over a bed of white rice! 

Easy Homemade Breakfast Tacos 

Cook time: 25 minutes

Total time: 25 minutes

Cuisine: Mexican  

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper (seeded and sliced) 
  • 1 red bell pepper (seeded and sliced) 
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (seeded and sliced) 
  • 1 medium yellow onion (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 eggs
  • Splash of milk or water
  • Shredded beef 
  • 8 flour or corn tortillas
  • Kosher salt
  • 1 15-ounce can black beans
  • 1 avocado (peeled, pitted and chopped)
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • ½ cup cotija cheese (crumbled) or cheddar cheese (shredded) 
  • Salsa
  • Cilantro (chopped)

PREPARATION: 

  1. In a 12-inch skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the peppers and onion. Sauté until the vegetables soften, stirring occasionally, for around 5 minutes. 
  2. (Optional) Add the shredded beef and cook for around 4-5 minutes.
  3. While the beef cooks, heat the tortillas for around 30 seconds each over low heat, or in the microwave.
  4. Melt the butter in a different 12-inch skillet over medium heat.
  5. Warm the beans in a small pan over medium heat.
  6. In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and add a splash of milk or water. Add a pinch of kosher salt and then add to the skillet with the butter. Cook, stirring often using a spatula until the eggs are soft.
  7. Put a few spoonfuls of beef in the tortilla, followed by some scrambled eggs and then add beans and vegetables. Garnish with avocado, tomato and cotija or cheddar cheese. Repeat with the remaining tortillas. If desired, serve with salsa and chopped cilantro.

PREPARATION

Avocado:

  • Add the tablespoon of lemon juice, olive oil, chopped fresh cilantro, salt and pepper to taste and set aside.

    Bread and butter:

    • Mix the butter with the crushed garlic and spread a little on the bread slice, place it on a baking sheet.
    • Bake for about 6 minutes at 392ºF or until golden brown around the edges. Set aside.

    Eggs:

    • Eggs can be prepared however you like, you can boil them, fry them or steam them.

    • Drain the hot water and cool slightly. Remove the shell from the egg and cut it into slices.

      INGREDIENTS

      • 2 Eggs
      • 1 Cup milk
      • 1 Cup wheat flour
      • 1/4 Tablespoon baking powder
      • 4 Tablespoon sugar
      • 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla
      • 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
      • 1 Pinch of salt

      PREPARATION

      1. In a bowl place the eggs, milk, butter, sugar, salt, vanilla and beat until the ingredients are well blended.
      2. Sift the flour and baking powder, add to the liquids and mix well until well incorporated.
      3. Place the mixture in a pancake batter dispenser.
      4. Heat a non-stick frying pan with a little butter and add some of the pancake mixture.
      5. As soon as small bubbles start to appear all over the pancake, flip it over and cook it on that side.
      6. When the pancakes are ready, you can serve them with honey, chocolate syrup, dulce de leche or whatever you like. Enjoy!

      Today we present you this basic gluten free bread recipe! I hope you like it. 
      INGREDIENTS 
      • 500g Mixed Bread 
      • 7g Dried Yeast
      • 100g Margarine 
      • 3 Eggs 
      • 300ml Lukewarm water 
      • 1 Pinch of salt 

      PREPARATION

      • Mix the prepared Bread Mix with the dried yeast. 
      • Stir in remaining ingredients. Work it all for 5 minutes until dough is smooth.
      • Put the dough into a greased and floured baking pan and level the surface with the help of a spoon or a wet water scoop.
      • Cover with a cloth and let sit in a warm place until it has doubled in volume (about 30 min.).
      • To get a nice golden brown, you can brush the surface with an egg beaten with a little milk.
      • Pour water into a baking pan and place on the bottom of the oven, turn the heat up to 200° C and bake the bread.
      • After 10 minutes, lower the temperature to 180° C and bake for about 40 minutes.
      • The bread is baked to perfection when, sticking a toothpick into it, the dough does not stick to it.
      • Let it cool and your bread is ready!

      1. Sauté some peppers, onion, and garlic until fragrant. Add the chicken.
      2. Butter a tortilla on one side.
      3. Drop a tortilla into a hot pan, butter side down, and sprinkle cheese over the entire tortilla. Then, put the chicken filling on half of the tortilla.
      4. Cook until the cheese starts to melt, and then fold the tortilla in half and press with a spatula to seal.
      5. After a few minutes, flip the quesadilla over to crisp up the other side.
      6. Slice and serve!
