Homemade Pumpkin Spice Donuts

With Fall right around the corner and Pumpkin Spice everything already dominating all the stores and coffee shops, it seemed like the right time to add a recipe about, well, Pumpkin Spice of course! And to use our new Non-Stick Donut Pans.

We got this delicious recipe courtesy of our friends at Mommieswithcents.com.

 Course Dessert
 Keyword dessert, autumn, pumpkin spice
 Prep Time 15 minutes
 Cook Time 20 minutes
 Total Time 35 minutes
 Servings about 18 donuts

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 15 oz. can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 3/4 cups flour

  • 1 stick of butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp. cinnamon

    1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

    2. In a large bowl, add all ingredients except the flour. Mix on medium speed until smooth. Add the flour, stirring until smooth.

    3. Fill the wells of the donut pans evenly until about 3/4 full.

    4. Bake the donuts 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    5. Remove the donuts from the oven. After a few minutes, transfer them to a cooling rack.

    6. After the donuts have cooled off a bit but are still warm, quickly dip them on each side in the melted butter, then gently shake them in a bag with the sugar and cinnamon mixture to coat.

    7. Serve and enjoy!
