Celabrating National Iced Tea Day with Jen Cox and Her Zulay Matcha Powder!

Celabrating National Iced Tea Day with Jen Cox and Her Zulay Matcha Powder!

Last June 10th, we celebrated #NationalIcedTeaDay and Jen Cox chose to celebrate it by making her own Matcha Iced Tea with Zulay's Matcha Powder. She is an avid fan of Matcha flavored everything that when she visited Japan all she wanted to consume was everything Matcha flavor! So when the fad came to the United States, she definitely welcomed it with arms wide open and got herself the all-organic Matcha Powder from Zulay Kitchen. Our matcha powder is 100% USDA organic, made from matcha tea leaves grown and harvested deep in the mountains of Shizuoka Prefecture, near Mount Fuji. With this much Matcha Powder, she can now make Matcha flavored everything in the comfort of her own home. Jen is now loving life one Matcha flavor at a time.

What better day than #nationalicedteaday to share one of my absolute favorite things with you! 🍵 #ad⁣ ⁣ I’m obsessed with all things matcha. Aside from drinking green tea at home, my first exposure was a housemate in college performing a tea ceremony. More than a decade later, I lived in Osaka, Japan and drank more matcha than I could dream of! Now that the trend has caught on in the US, you can find matcha everything, everywhere (and I couldn’t be happier!)⁣ ⁣ Not sure where to start, but want the green-tea-antioxidants-immunity-boosting-stress-reducing-benefits? For straight tea, go with a ceremonial matcha, and for lattes, baking or other creations, I recommend trying a culinary matcha powder. ⁣ ⁣ Today, I’m keeping it simple with a recipe for an easy iced matcha tea latte that you can do at home! I use @zulay_kitchen culinary matcha because I love a bold matcha flavor, especially in a latte. Grab this amazing matcha and my handheld coffee grinder on their website: www.zulaykitchen.com⁣ ⁣ Iced Matcha Tea Latte:⁣ • 2 tsp matcha powder, 2 tsp hot water to brew matcha shots⁣ • 2 tsp espresso or coffee, 2 tsp hot water to brew espresso shots⁣ • Ice to fill glass⁣ • 4-6 oz cold milk of choice (I used oat milk)⁣ ⁣ ➡️ Swipe for the video!
